Avgi Pourgoura
Founder & Creative Director
Avgi is the visionary behind Genome Theatre — a creator of immersive worlds where imagination, interaction and visual storytelling collide.
With a background in theatre and advanced performance practice, she brings boundless energy and a deep love of aesthetics, costumes and atmosphere to every experience.
Her passion lies in crafting moments that invite guests not just to watch the story, but to step inside it.
Her recipe for inspiration?
A walk in nature, travelling somewhere new, the artistry of cooking, a good book, hot yoga, and occasionally hanging upside down on an aerial hammock.
Avgi trained in Theatre and Performance at the Guildford School of Acting and later completed a master’s degree in Advanced Theatre Practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

As Head of Cheer, Eddie specialises in tail-wagging encouragement, toy “re-design” and sampling the finest pupuccinos.
