An immersive surprise experience created in collaboration with Chaika Events for a private 40th celebration in Morocco.

Conceived as a surprise by his wife and brought to life by Genome Theatre, this bespoke experience transformed a luxury celebration in Marrakech into a playful, immersive world inspired by the legendary tales of Scheherazade and Sinbad.

The experience began subtly, with personalised newspapers mysteriously delivered to guests’ hotel rooms alongside secret messages from “The Surprise Bureau,” hinting that something extraordinary was unfolding behind the scenes. Guests soon found themselves drawn into a story filled with hidden clues, unexpected encounters, and carefully crafted moments designed to spark curiosity, excitement, and laughter.

During brunch, a locked suitcase appeared — containing riddles that slowly revealed the next chapter — while surprise characters and immersive performances wove through the evening in ways nobody anticipated. Every detail was tailored specifically to him and his guests, making the celebration feel deeply personal, cinematic, and alive.

Rather than simply attending a party, guests became part of an unfolding adventure — and the best part? Not even they knew where it would take them next.
